SettleMeNow was born from a very concrete problem: in associations, non-profits, and small organizations, managing expense reimbursements and vendor payments almost always means chasing emails, spreadsheets, and WhatsApp messages — with the risk of losing track of things, forgetting approvals, or never knowing for sure "where things stand".

We built SettleMeNow to be the opposite: a single place where anyone requesting a reimbursement can do so in a few minutes, without needing an account; where approvers can approve with one click, even from their phone; and where whoever handles payments always knows what's already been paid and what hasn't.

It's not a product built for large companies with dedicated administrative departments — it's built for people managing all this in their spare time, often as volunteers, who need something genuinely simple, not just "simple enough".

SettleMeNow is developed and run independently, with security addressed in every aspect, not just claimed in words: passwords are never readable, not even by whoever manages the platform; each workspace sees only and exclusively its own data, never that of other organizations; confirmation links sent by email (to approve an expense or mark it as paid) use unique, time-limited codes designed to be neither guessable nor reusable; and data is hosted on servers in Italy, in compliance with European privacy regulations.
